Works perfectly as advertised. If you have old VGA display or projector and the picture is cropped, just try various resolutions - for example with the very old projector that supports only the original widescreen, 1280x768 works fine, while all other widescreen formats are cropped. You can stream picture and sound from your phone as well - to make it work, you must first turn off the transmitter (unplug it from computer), and then you have to connect the phone to the wifi network created by the receiver - after that you will be able to find the receiver as a destination. Overall, very good and well-thought product.

Rather than move a cable box back and forth to our patio, we bought one of these a number of years ago and have it connected to our DVR. When we moved we used it on our screened porch. We were having some problems and didn't know if it was the unit or our provider...apparently it was our provider. We decided to keep the new unit as a backup. This thing is freaking awesome! Just need a WiFi connection and a provider inside your home and you're good to go! (The new owners of our old home called me trying to figure out how we watched cable TV outside..told him and now he's a proud owner too! Never had a problem with the unit or reception. Well worth the money and pays for itself by not needing a other cable receiver to use outside!
